The film Dil Bechara directed by Mukesh Chhabra, featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif Ali Khan and Sanjana Sanghi released on July 24 and fans love the soothing songs from the movie. The makers managed to release a few songs before Dil Bechara’s digital release which are composed by Academy award winner AR Rahman, and they received a great response. It was recently when AR Rahman opened up about why he has had less collaboration with Bollywood as compared to the film industry down South and mentioned about a gang spreading false rumours about him.
Speaking with Radio Mirchi, Dil Bechara music composer AR Rahman mentioned how Mukesh Chhabra mentioned to him that many people asked him to not go to the composer for the movie’s music album. He said, "See, I don't say no to good movies, but I think there is a gang, which, due to misunderstandings, is spreading some false rumours."
Reacting to the news, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur shared a picture of a story published by Mumbai Mirror and expressed his fury. On Twitter, Shekhar Kapur tweeted, “You know what your problem is @arrahman ? You went and got #Oscars . An Oscar is the kiss of death in Bollywood. It proves you have more talent than Bollywood can handle ..” Talking about AR Rahman receiving the Academy award, Kapur told the music composer that the injustice with him proves that he has more talent than Bollywood can handle.
